Hello everyone!
I'm a developer, mainly Java in software and web, right now I'm into game development with Unity.
In needs of using a keyboard for extended period of time, I got into mechanical keyboard. My first one is the CM Storm Quickfire Pro Brown switch in 2013. Since then I have used a few more keyboards, right now I'm using Ikbc G104 blue switch. I have to mention that I love blue switch, though I feel that I'm pretty compatible with black switch (red is too light for me).
In near future, I want to build a custom keyboard, a 60% layout one, I'm looking forwards to your guildance. ;D

Welcome to Geekhack!
There is the infamous GH60 that you might look into, although I don't know whether it ended up getting anywhere, as the GB seems to be dragging out a bit.

Right around the same time I found topre switch testers I also found the GH60. Is this a knock-off PCB or the real deal? Ebay Link (http://www.ebay.com/itm/SATAN-pre-soldered-DIY-GH60-Keyboard-PCB-support-Breathing-LED-60-cherry-MX-/272032784852?hash=item3f566ae1d4:g:o-oAAOSw~bFWNQs4). Maybe that is why the group buy is at a stand still?

The Chinese versions of "GH60" are named Satan GH60.. they just refer to it as GH60 for marketing purposes but it's an entirely different pcb. There are threads about it on here, if you're interested in buying it and flashing your own keymappings. Apparently it's not that bad for a budget 60% build, but yeah totally diff pcb.

Ok, seeing it on Ebay raised a few red flags for me. I guess the Satan GH60 is ok if you want a pre-soldered PCB. Or a FaceW.. hmmm :)

yep! it's okay, but I heard the satan gh60 doesn't support macros either (that is, if you need them). overall, either a facew or GON nerd60 will be better in terms of quality and reliability~
