They were only made for one single Korean special order keyboard. They don't seem to be a usual item that Cherry produces anymore.

They are a slightly lighter variant of the linear (black mx) switches.

Take a black mx switch switch the spring for one from a brown mx = you have a red mx.

Yes, the G80-3494 - It is the only board that ever used them.

I don't know whether it was a Korean or Chinese special order, but those are the only countries in which you can "easily" get access to that board.

PS: Here is the force diagram:

Their marketing department seems to be leveraging the asian cleavage effect. The keyboard is a nice touch as well.

Asian tits, viewed above from a steep angle... you know, if you want to be specific.

Well, she's wearing white lingerie. I'd buy that keyboard if she was wearing black, to match the keyboard.

No, I just think the real thing is a little more interesting.

BTW, I'm the one on the left.  I think fluffy, pink handcuffs are kinky; I get a lot of use out of them.

What's with the weird yellow costume? It doesn't look like that good of a rain coat to me.

I'm not sure if that position is very ergonomic. You need to keep an eye on these things, before you know it you are sitting all wrong and rsi is right around the corner!

See. Some people DO need 20 key rollover!

And on the subject of hand safety, always clean knives with the sharp edge facing away from your fingers.
Here is an example of how NOT to do it:

Maybe but I'm holding firm on my assertion that 6 key rollover is good enough for anybody, Red Cherries or not.

Not to do what? I don't see anything I don't like. She can hold mine and do that, whenever she wants.

i was surprised to see yet different versions of filco packaging.
then i saw the label.
is it not showing cherry red as a switch option?  perhaps the future has a cherry red majestouch?

I remember seeing a Filco board with a red label on the banner (as opposed to the brown label for the standard "tea axis". The description was google translated as something like "chinese tea axis", but I think the stems themselves were brown. They might have been described as linear though, and it made me think that it really was a red switch. Damn, I should have saved it. now I can't find it anywhere.

And I still can't find one of those elusive g803494s

Anyway, someone give me a white tenkeyless otaku with reds dammit. It would be so, so perfect.

You could always make one out of a brown by modifying the mechanism. Besides, aren't the browns reasonable linear anyway?

when you compare them side-by-side, they're night and day. Blacks are totally smooth, they're like butter. Browns have that "bump" which is really prominent when used side-by-side with a black.

I've also got some really well-worn in blacks, which are a bit lighter and feel amazing. I'm thinking of getting a new black filco just because I know the switches feel awesome after a few years of beating.

id still like to think a keyboard that doesnt require spare parts for such would be nice...

and coming from someone who hasnt used cherry blacks, i dont think browns are that linear.  feel like blues but more subtle.

I adore red cherries but this cool mod of Kinesis Advantage rocks. I wonder if Kinesis company would wake up and start building something like that.

I'm making a Cherry blue Kinesis mod as I type. Replacing the browns with the blues from Welly's Scorpius M10.

But it's not really rare. Parts of Aisa seem to have easy access to lots of them.

And I agree with ch_123 on this. They're only linear.....
