Post by: absyrd on Mon, 15 February 2016, 11:05:01
Bye bye g502.

Think I can somehow bring it back to life?

Cheap replacement.

This sucks. I blame wyfe for hugging me with all that fleece pajama nonsense.

it was sabotage.. she h8ed you playing them sweet vidya, and not paying attention to her..

Detective TP says, it's quite unlikely you'd build up that level of charge -by accidenT.

also, it's prolly still under warranty..  logitech is usually pretty soft about it.

Have you actually unhooked it and restarted the computer, tried another port, things like this can cause the system to shut down that USB port until a restart.  I've never heard of a spark like that killing a mouse, it's certainly possible, but unlikely. Especially since there is so little conductive material in it to catch that arc.

As Tp4 mentioned, send it to Logitech. Buy a cheap mouse to use in the meantime.
