Nope, not a bash thread,
I would just like to mention something I noticed:
At your current rate you will hit 10k posts faster than this forum did!
There really should be a prize for this or something, lol
I don't think I've put that much work into my work, let alone a forum for my hobbies! CG man!
-
so this is how he does it...bastard
-
Ripster... hmmm.... nope! Doesn't ring a bell, but I knew this lego guy once.
-
To think people hated me for posting so much.
-
Will you shut up already, XsPhat?
-

I love how the first few threads on the forum were basically just a conversation between you and iMav lol
And Ripster, I know how you feel about post count, but I think we can all agree that the content of MOST of those posts was quite worthwhile...

Ripster's or xphat's? :fencing:

That horse looks sad. I would be, too, if I had a chunk taken out of my back.
-
We've come a long way, folks.
-
Women? I guess I like them a little older just not Bea Arthur older. Sade is HOT, especially for being over 50. Catherine Zeta Jones is a hottie, too.
-
I like keybaords
-
I like my typewriters old and my women young.

I like my typewriters old and my women young.
That's a little more my style (not too young, though).

No matter how old I get, highschool girls stay the same age.

Yup...
-
Typical nerd disorder.
-
I disagree, I am not a nerd, and I don't think anyone on this forum falls into the category of "typical"
-
I agree, before MS Windows posts a nerd picture up there...

That really got out of hand fast...

Good job, boys! I'm proud of you.

I found an article about Ripster.
Touch Me. (http://toronto.ctv.ca/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20091203/lego_gun_091203/20091203?hub=Toronto)
-
It stayed on track for the first page anyway...
-
Can we stop with the legos and go back to the ultimate keyboard layout?
-
Is that Male or Female?
-
So you don't know the gender of the Lego figure?
-
It's not porn if done artistically
"If it's out of focus, it's art.
If it's in-focus, it's pornography."
- Billy, from Year of Living Dangerously (Linda Hunt's character)
-
Just a random fact, but am I the only person who realized that Ripster has almost 10% of all the posts on this entire site?
-
What's scarier is that a search on Google Images for any sort of half-decent keyboard will show up the pictures that Ripster uses in his threads.

Nonsense, the only AI here is MS Windows. He's a beta pattern matching software, probably written by some drunken college students *
(Drunken college students have done stranger things... some friends of mine came back into college after a pub crawl and attempted to hook up a DEC VT100 to a Macbook Pro)

Well, at least with a low-level capable serial to USB converter the chances of this working wouldn't even be that bad...

The major stumbling block here was that the screen was dead. This was something I had discovered myself previously, but obviously forgot to mention it.

Piecing all of this together, it sounds like the major stumbling block that night was the curb. I think I would have just stumbled into bed and called it a night.
