Title: Computer Sounds

Does your computer sometimes make new noises, that you've never heard before.. and you're just thinking in the back of your mind..  well, that's that,  it's got computer cancer..  gonna plan to buy a new pc..


Just before this post, my computer made a --meeeeiiiep-- noise..

My hard drive makes strange sounds. But I know it has been dying for a while... I'm just... sentimental (broke)

Sometimes I think it's my PC, but it usually ends up to be my cat doing something near it.

I have had the fan in the PSU starting to wear out and make loud noises. That is something that is not recommended that you would fix yourself.

This is normal, just solder in a new fan...

This. If you're worried about capacitors, just let it sit unplugged for about a day and they'll discharge. If you're really worried, after a day use a screwdriver or something to short the leads.
