Title: Using seil to remap macbook pro keys
Post by: 1swt2gs on Sat, 27 February 2016, 00:12:03
I didn't know where else to post this, so hopefully someone can help me out on here!

I can't for the life of me figure out how to remap fn on seil. Ideally, I need to change fn -> left control & left command -> left alt

I selected the option:

Change command_L 55 (left command) to keycode 58 and succesfully left command is now left alt.

You're going to need Karabiner (https://pqrs.org/osx/karabiner/) for that (which used to be called KeyRemap4Macbook). It's a much richer utility than Seil, and ofters a ton more customizations.

It's also made by the same developer, and both can be installed simultaneously without problem.
