I was recently drawn into the world of mechanical keyboards after seeing the video with George Hotz talking about his self-driving car. He had a white HHK Pro 2 with blank keys in the corner of his garage. It looked so cool, I had to learn more about mechanical keyboards.
After a lot of reading I decided to try the HHKB Pro 2 Type-S, so I bought one from Japan. I really like it, and I', thinking about buying one more for the office now, so I don't have to carry this one back and forth. Unfortunately we have a pretty aggressive import tax here (25% + a fixed import fee of 22 EUR/25 USD no matter what the value).
My little brother is living in South Korea (he's an archer), so I was thinking it might be possible to buy a HHKB Pro 2 in South Korea somewhere. I've looked at leopold.co.kr, but the price seems to be a lot more expensive that buying from Japan (even more expensive that importing the keyboard from Japan to South Korea).
Any ideas whether it's possible to find a HHKB for a good price in South Korea? Preferrably an online store. Thanks :)

Welcome to Geekhack!
Nice - starting with an HHKB. No better way than starting at the top and saving yourself a lot of money trying dozens of other keyboards ;)
HHKB is made in Japan, hence why it would be cheaper from there. Koreans tend to focus on their own custom keyboards, of which there are many very nice ones. Not sure whether you'd be able to grab a cheap HHKB from there.
Another alternative is to keep an eye on classifieds (https://geekhack.org/index.php?board=59.0) - occasionally one turns up.

Thanks for you reply. Yeah, that's what I thought. I spent a lot of time researching what keyboard to get, and I was swayed by the 60% form factor, and the compatibility with Mac (I avoid Windows whenever I can). So far it's been the perfect choice (only downside is that the Type-S is not available in black, however, I might get the a black HHKB Pro 2 with blank keys and switch the keys around) :)
I think I'll just ask my brother if I can pay the import tax beforehand, and he could bring the keyboard with him next time he's home.
