Hey Guys,
I'm planning to buy Vortex Poker 3 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wjW-Or1jg8) but I worry that because of the layout it will not work properly with Programmers Dvorak Layout (http://www.kaufmann.no/roland/dvorak/) and I'm using it. Can someone that has that keyboard check it out and tell me whether it's working. Besides the numbers and the special symbols like [(*]...and I'm wondering whether the arrow keys are working properly.... I'll appreciate it.

Out of the box no, it won't support it but... You can reprogram the whole thing with enough patience. The only issue is that a fw update will wipe out all of your hard work :/

A dev's derivative of Dvorak. Thats pretty niche. How do you deal with QWERTY boards? Or do you just carry a Dvorak board around with you and plug it in when you need to?

The only way to know for sure whether it's working on Poker 3 is to turn on Programmers dvorak and try (it's installed by default on linux and for windows machines it can be installed from that link (http://www.kaufmann.no/roland/dvorak/)). @Liocer is this the way you have concluded that it's NOT working?

Well I don't deal with qwerty anymore. You can configure Dvorak on any machine within a minute (it comes with the default installation), so it's not a problem. It's a software configuration.

Actually I was saying that you could change the bindings on the hardware to be whatever you want regardless of software. So yes you can def get it working.

Yeah I know but I don't want to use the DIP switch. I need to work out of the box with the original software for the layout. Do you have that keyboard with you? Can you change your layout and check whether it's working?
