Hi there!
I built a GON TKL a few weeks ago, and I haven't been able to get the in switch caps/scroll lock leds to turn on and off. Does anyone know how to do that on this board?
Thanks!

I'm assuming you've checked the LEDs themselves work and aren't in backwards, so next guess - are the resistors for them soldered on the board?
if they are more info would be good - are you running the default firmware or a customised layout? Does backlighting work on those keys and/or others, if you're planning on having it?

Yeah, the leds work fine! Basically right now, they are always on. I've used the NerDy GUI to modify the key layout, and dim the leds a touch, but other than that I haven't changes anything. I haven't even changes the placement of where scroll lock and caps lock should be...

The config in NerDy GUI shows different pins are used as indicators. Look at the PCB and you will see separate pins near Caps for the indicators.

Ah. Thanks! I was hoping the in switch led could double as the indicator leds, since my plate has no holes for extra leds...

Yeah--it's kind of annoying. I usually take a 2x3x4mm LED and some heat shrink and do a side-soldered LED. It works well with the acrylic out the side (esp since I use RGB two-post LEDs for Caps).
