Hey there
my name is Francesco, I'm from Rome (Italy) and I am currently studying Classical Language. From the first time I mooved from a membrane keyboard to my first mech (a pok3r with MX reds) I just can't go back. Right now I would like to make my own keyboard (yes, it will have a custom layout, I thought it will be the only way to have my keyboard), so in the process of gathering informations I found this community that looks awsome.
Peace

Welcome :D I'm not exactly sure if you want to create your own PCB or just put together a board with different parts from different websites but there are plenty of options either way. You probably have access to a few PCBs us Americans don't see too often :p

Welcome to Geekhack!
One benefit of having your own custom layout is that no-one else can use it effectively.
But one down side is that if it ever breaks, you'd be stuck going back to a conventional layout and struggling to remember how to type on it.
What aspects of the conventional layout do you dislike?
