Hi guys,
I would like to make a mod set for Alps boards, but Alps boards use a variety of mods. Would you mind please filling out this one-question survey? I will release the results for the benefit of all Alps capmakers.
Please let me know if I'm missing anything or any entries are duplicative.
Survey: What's on your Alps board (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1_-1jtE8Qo-h4jp8IVNdlYgxGpWqmTgtvAv1f-Bu3Nog/viewform)?

Most of the "other" votes are Dell AT101w. Oops. Forgot to add that.

Thank you! You guys have no idea how helpful this is!

Wow I shouldn't have made all those AEK mods :( lol

Filled out. I use my Alps 60% boards most of the time these days (Alpine Winter & AEKII caps), but I pull out the Filco Zero with Tai Hao doubleshots at least weekly, for any kind of arrow-heavy work.

Filled it out. It'll be interesting to see the final results.

Responded ... curious to see where this goes.

I'll be using my AEK keycaps on my new cluboard build; do you already have molds for the mods? I've been planning on molding them myself; would you be willing to share how you managed to get all the air out of those super long stems?

I don't have stem bubble problems bc I prepour my stems and let the stem fully cure before pouring my final shot of resin. But that may not work for everyon; I like my stems to be a different color from the underside.
You can also just add a vent to the tip of the stem either by boring through the cured silicone with a 14ga syringe, or by supergluing an upside down pointed toothpick to the tip of the stem on the master key. The only disadvantage to this is that you'll have to sand down the little nub that's left after you demold and snip the vent sprue off.

Boated.

Done. For my main Alps board, I've been using Focus 2001 Alphas and Alpine Winter Modifiers for the time being. I'm also using IBM 5140 keycaps for my other keyboard.
