TP WORKS OUT?
I took a break from running and it's been about 1.5 years since I've ran competitively. In high school I did track and cross country so I was always a lean guy at 5'6 125lb. Last year I was at about 135lb and I completely stopped running and not caring about my diet, I gained about 35lb and I was chubby as hell. Since new years I have severely limit my diet and choosing healthy meals now I'm down 20lb. The first couple pounds are easy but after that it is hell. I need to run about 20miles a week to at least lose 1lb a week.
losing weight is such a drag :'(

so you need to lose another 10-15 lbs ? assuming the muscle gain meets you half way ?

Well it really depends on what you are trying to achieve I just prefer cardio. Muscle gain doesn't really interest me plus it wouldn't fit my physique. get swolle tp

Internet says you need a combination of both. .

Nice job dude. I am also on the weight-loss train. Down about 30 pounds since early December. It can definitely be a struggle, but it feels good too! :)
Just so you know, I've discovered medieval fencing.I'm not into sports either just running, I don't watch football, soccer, basketball, ect.
I'm not into sports, but the historical feel and the community sense is helping me.
I'm focusing on Verdadera Destreza (Spanish Rapier school) and not all the weapons though.

awesome job on your part as well! 30 pounds is a lot :thumb:
The best part of burning some pounds is feeling great. You have more energy and overall feel healthier.
My mom is a runner and health nut so she is kinda helping me out. She bought a pound of fat replica from amazon to put in the kitchen. It really does stops me from grabbing a snack that thing is pretty big.

Ah nice! Yeah I have just been lifting weights 3-4 times a week and doing cardio 1-2 times a week. I find lifting weights is really fun and rewarding, and it is easy to get into the gym routine. I also count calories through MyFitnessPal, and have been eating 1700 cal/day, which is about a 1000 cal/day deficit, which works out to 2 pounds lost per week.
