be nice if he showed the whole set or the donor board so i could know exactly what set of keys it is
also surprised he didnt sell them here

Hey Didjamatic, I don't understand which part of the key-caps are clicky (Cherry 2 shot double shot Keyboard Key Caps Clicky Set2). Key-caps are key-caps, 2 shot, 3 shot, but how can they be clicky ? Cheaper to harvest from an old board, more fun and some spare switches too. ie: I recently purchased a Wyse for £0.99 plus £4.99 Shipping.
TBH I like the Red Stapler more than your key caps, no offence.

he was just trying to cover the important keywords
using 'shot' twice was kind of a mistake

Will these fit on a Filco w/ brown or blue switches?

For the most part. You won't be able to swap out the front row keys as the Cherry mounts the switches off-center in their 'boards for whatever reason. There might be a few others that might not fit.
Check it (http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=Island:6924).

I don't usually like to sell on forums because 1 - things are slower to sell and 2 - it's usually more hassle than it's worth. I don't mean to offend anyone, but if you've sold much on the internet I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.
I like ebay auctions where the product usually will sell quickly and i nearly always do .01 no reserve auctions. In the case of these key caps, I got burned buying the Cherry keyboards. They were used in mechanic shops with key covers/skins on them so the keys were good, but the edges and backs of the boards were very dirty and the cords were as well. More dirty than I have time to spend cleaning. A couple are ok but rather than pay to ship them back or spend the time cleaning them up, I opted to just pull the 2 shots and sell them separately at zero profit. By the time I cover paypal and ebay fees I don't make a dime on these.
J888WWW, Andrew is right, It's just a keyword, caps themselves are not clicky but these caps are frequently used for clicky keyboards, thus the use of the keyword to help the right people find the auction.
I would be glad to sell outside of ebay, I frequently do, but for some reason forums are not as efficient at moving things when you want to.
I had 8 total cherry boards, I'm keeping 2 key cap sets and have already sold 1 set on ebay... so I have 5 more sets if anyone is interested you can PM me.

i dont think its offensive to say forum stuff sell slower, ebay is definitely easier
i am considering getting them from you though
seeing as how ive bidded more than that on doubleshot boards JUST for the keys it should be easy to justify

These blacks with white lettering are all 101 key and yes, every key is doubleshot (except space bar of course). I do have some other 2 shot boards that are white/off white but can't recall the layout. At least 2 were space saving designs. They're all buried in boxes that I need to dig out.
Here is what the donor boards look like: (sorry, crappy photos taken with flash in low light) See auction for close ups of key caps.

Now that is interesting. I have never seen a Cherry G81 colored like that. Very interesting. Where did you get these boards from?
-
These dark grey boards with black keycaps seemingly were quite common in the US. Seems to be a fairly standard combo for POS boards over there. Why, I don't know.
-
what sense does it make to put it offcenter

EDIT and i had to look at that second picture a few times to get my eyes right, the spaces where windows keys should be (ESPECIALLY the right one) look like you drew in gray rectangles in mspaint.

They were used on automotive alignment systems and the customers were probably charged an arm and a leg for them. They have an XT/AT switch on the back of each board so they're compatible with either.

Hmm. Bountiful, Utah. Guess I'm not the only SLC-area user posting here.

Do you know an Alan Stanwyck from Provo, UT?
-
I don't.

I didn't think so. I'm pretty sure he was shot and killed. By an LA police officer, if I'm not mistaken. Sad story. He was cheating on his wife with a lady from Provo (Alan's hometown). He had moved to LA for business. Thanks, anyway.
