Hello *,

This is a Group Buy for Topre Dampening Rings. Those rings will reduce the sound when the key gets released. The MOQ for a successful run will be 1000 rings.

Pricing:
70 Rings: 17€
95 Rings: 24€
115 Rings: 29€

Shipping:
Up to three sets per person, for larger orders, please send me a PM. As i am located in Germany, shipping inside of Germany is cheaper. All packages will be trackable.
Germany: 3,6€
International: 6,1€

Paypal fees are already included, aswell as packaging. There are also 5% of the price as a buffer. After the GB this money will be spend to GH.

Update 10.3.2016

Those rings are 1mm thick, not cut from a sheet but more like o-rings. The inner diameter is ~0.5mm smaller than the topre slider, so it sits firmly on the slider.

They look like O-rings in the picture.  People need dimensions, durometer, and so on.  Based on the picture alone, I wouldn't even consider grabbing any since they look like they would have a dramatic impact on the feel of the board.

yeah I'm a little weary about the displacement of the stems at rest with o-rings as opposed to flat rings like hypersphere/dental bands

Unfortunatly i only have a Novatouch. Neither a Type-S nor  Hypersphere rings. If i find the time, i can do a soundfile of the rings.

definitely need a typing video after installing these. and seeing that these were o-rings, wouldn't it be twisted after some time like a rubber band?

Not really, they are really sturdy. And since they sit on the bottom of the slider they wont move up/down on it. I have mine installed since ~20 hours typing and no issues so far and i doubt there will be some.

Hmm, they really look as they are very thick! How do they feel? I only used (since yesterday) the Hypersphere rings, which are basically flat and very thin.

Well, you dont really feel them, as they reduce the sound when the key releases. The only thing you could notice is that the key travel is 1mm less.

Where are they sourced from? From the photos they look to be too thick. I have had a go with dental bands and made my own out of foam but I have never got the right material or thickness.
