"MODEL M KEYBOARD 1390120 1986 - *Good Condition* *AT Cable* (http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-MODEL-M-KEYBOARD-1390120-1986-Good-Condition-AT-Cable-/291705715361)"

BIN $69.95, free shipping

It's missing a couple of (easily replaceable) buttons—but otherwise this is a very good price for a 1st-generation Model M in such nice shape, with the original black AT cable and the early Model-F-style "barcode" label.

I won't get into the controversy over how important it is to have LED lock lights. As most of you know, with terminal-emulation boards like this, lock-light status was shown on the screen and lights on the KB weren't necessary.

But unlike virtually every other IBM terminal board, the 1390120 can be used with a modern PC with a simple AT-PS/2 adapter (and, if you wish, a cheap PS/2-USB converter like this one (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dual-PS2-Female-to-USB-Male-Converter-Adaptor-Cable-F-M-for-Mouse-Keyboard-ST-/152010580825?hash=item2364896359:g:wbEAAOSwYHxWIGmo)).

Please don't troll here. If you don't like items like this, please post about it in the Keyboards section. Thanks!

Hmmm, very nice. The black cable and square metal badge and even the barcode label just ooze class IMO :D .

I have an almost identical baord, can vouch for the quality. It's a serious M for sure. Get a BlueCube and you're good to go over USB.

Hmm, the AT cable on Model M's can be converted to PS/2 like normal, right?

Nearly a week and this hasn't sold?

Model M prices must be slumping again. A few month ago this would have gone quickly at $100 shipped.

Sure—all you need is a simple adapter like this one:

The KB sold for asking price... Someone got a nice deal.

I actually just found and bought another AT grey-logo 87' Model M just like this for only $60 with free shipping. It doesn't have the barcode label, though. The seller is even shipping it with an AT to PS/2 adapter.

I just have to replace my blue cube, which does not like when I convert my Focus from AT to PS/2 and then use the blue cube

Maybe I'm seeing it wrong but that looks like a PS/2 to AT converter to me, not the other way around xD .
