Let's see how high this goes.

Brandon at Clickykeyboards.com generally sells his NIB Model Ms at high market price and you can sort of use his prices to establish the high benchmark.

Of course, he also provides a no-hassle 30 day money back refund on his keyboards and I've yet to see the same guarantee from any ebay seller.

Brandon also has a stellar reputation for integrity and is very straight forward and open.  However, look elsewhere for the smokin' deals.

Now that CH Trackball is a little more interesting to me. I'll have to keep an eye on it and see where it goes. If it stays low I may have to get in on the action :)

BTW he is also selling a CH Trackball - the IBM Model M of Trackballs.

What is the IBM 84-key PC AT Model F of Trackballs?  That's the one I want!

You sure? Maybe you would like the blue-cherry of trackballs better. :)

Are you really attempting to compare the 84-key PC AT Model F with Blue Cherry keyboards?  :)

Blue Cherries are fun to use know and then, but they are toys.  The gold standard for me will always be the original IBM 84-key PC AT Model F keyboard.  It is technologically superior to the Model M and all the other mechanical key switch keyboards...even if it sounds and feels like a keypunch machine!

So no, I want the gold standard (not the Blue Cherries) of trackballs.  Even though the ripster may think otherwise, I value his opinion and perspective on computer peripherals.

If he thinks this trackball is comparable to  the Model M, I will be bidding on the CH DT225 trackball after all...

What's the problem in regard to World Shipping ? I consider it to discrimination, if a buyer is willing to pay the Taxes and Shipping costs, then World Shipping should be readily available as a rule.
So as an after thought, I regard those without this service as a "NOT" recommended ebayer.

I have sent things to members overseas, and it's not really a problem.  The only thing I see is maybe eBay doesn't automatically calculate world shipping and deals fall through because of it (sticker shock).

Nowsharing, good luck with your sales!
Thanks Ripster, there will be some more stuff going up now that I'm back from Brazil (as of today). So far I could only list things that I either had with me, or had pictures from when I bought them. I won't **** off everything here, but I thought the NIB M would make some geekhacker pretty happy.

Paypal scams. I was fooled once and lost big. Unfortunately this means that I lose customers, but I gave myself the rule and have just stuck with it. A friend of mine also lost some serious money on a guitar going overseas, and came to the same conclusion. I feel horrible about it, but I don't sell in large enough quantities to make it worth the risk.

It's staying low so far, please join in! :) I bought two of them thinking that one would be a backup, but have realized how crazy it is to think that I could ever wear these suckers out. They're outrageously well built.

So you're saying people from abroad can scam you ? but people from the US cannot scam you ??

Good points.  I was trying to sell my projector on eBay awhile back, and someone tried to scam me.  It was pretty obvious, so I didn't fall for it, and I reported them.  Unfortunately, I was never able to sell it.

I once ordered an expensive set of Beyer headphones from a shop in the UK. They sent an email after I paid for them demanding various personal details over email, including photocopies of bills. I told them to **** off in the most polite way possible, and they sent the headphones soon after. They had claimed that they had problems with scammers from outside the UK, but obviously thought their business was more important than their customer's privacy. Probably won't buy from them again.

I don't really mind, it's the seller's option in the end and I respect their decision. I was just ranting because of the frustration of watching all those desirable items bought/sold by multiple orders at an irresistible price (CH Trackball, Siig MiniTouch, Cherry MX SPOS, etc etc etc ). After all these arduous Years of labour, I cannot spend my miniscule pension without hindrance.

It's not simple.

1) Unfortunately scammers tend to be international buyers.  Except Canadians, a noble and 100% honest people except in Quebec.   So you're fighting statistics.

Grrr ripster You... nothing wrong with Quebec :boxing:

The mechanical keyboard market is non-existent in Montreal, I went for a drive the other day, checked out 10 or so used computer stores, computer recyclers. I made sure to talk to the boss in each place and none of them even knew of any of the usual mechanical keyboards, they didn't even know what a mechanical keyboard was even with detailed explanations. It's fair to say that they have all been scrapped. A keyboard that is rare in the states is even rarer here. So thanks for selling your keyboards! Happy Holidays, WTS snow

I remember hearing about a man from France who went to Quebec figuring he could speak some French there. He felt like he was in another country as he couldn't understand what they said!

I thought all the Canadians made fun of Québécois.

I like Quebec.  As an American when visiting there it was the first time in Canada I felt like I was visiting another country.

We do!

P.S. Québécois are awesome, they have poutine.

I added a new picture to the auction showing that the board has never been used.

I also wanted to clarify that like Ripster said earlier, my worry about shipping overseas has nothing to do with the people, and everything to do with paypal's tracking requirements. It's too easy for buyers to get a refund for international orders because of the lack of delivery confirmations with most shipping services.

Well that beats the 95 bucks I coughed up for mine. But I'm one of those untrustworthy international buyers, so I had to pay a premium.
