Anybody know anything about this group Revo Design?  It's strikingly similar to a concept render posted by yuktsi recently in the TGR Tris thread.  The production sample is nice and the price is a little high but not outrageous.  Wanted to know more, especially to see some color samples, before I commit to anything.  My Google Fu might be weak but I can't find anything for Revo Design, GPAD, or "Whyink".  It would also be nice to know what program is used for keymapping (it's ATmega32A based).  Waiting for Massdrop to answer any of these questions...

Well, that design is basically a Kpad.

I forgot Massdrop has a vendor forum on here now.  If this would be better suited over there please feel free to move it.  Sorry!

Kpad clone.

But I must say that price is bloody good, even if it is a clone.

Agreed. Won't be able to resist one at this price.

I'll just wait for a Tris. No idea what the quality could be like on these, unless anyone has any ideas

Its almost worth my money just to find out. Go in with low expectations, possibly be pleasantly surprised.

Yeah, I'd rather just pay $20-30 more for a guaranteed good product.

it's more of a kpad 2 clone even though a kpad 2 doesnt exist yet

granted this design isn't very original by any means

Revo Design are a group out from a Chinese keyboard forum. They've done a group buy in China and want to international now.

bootMapper is used for reprograming the keypad.

I might have been interested in this if samwisekoi hadn't recently revived the GH36 PCB project.

Does anyone else think a mounting plate is overkill for such a small keypad, especially in an aluminum housing?
