Title: Coolermaster Masterkeys RGB boards
Post by: ThoughtArtist on Sun, 20 March 2016, 02:01:27
"The MasterKeys Pro L and S keyboards are sleek-looking designs with Cherry MX clickers. Cooler Master says the RGB LED lighting in these is a patented design that should offer stronger colors than regular LED-lit keys. The Pro L is a full 104-key design, while the Pro S ditches the numpad for easier access to the mouse."

Any thoughts? Not sure about marketing campaign though.

I like this board. I have a CMStorm QuickFire Rapid. Initially I liked the 4 keys above the numpad, till I found out they are programming/profile keys. If I could only use those as mediakeys, and reassign them in Windows. I am still not sure which of the RGB keyboards I will buy, maybe the Shine 5 or the Corsair K70?

I really like both these keyboards, I am looking forwards towards buying the "S" version

I've been eyeing these, too, especially after reading about some of the firmware issues that people were having with the MK Disco.

I do think it looks interesting and nice and clean, but I'm not sure I'd want a white backplate, now that I think about it. I like the glowing letters but I don't want the whole backplate area to glow.

I'm getting the Pro S once it releases with MX Blues.  The keyboard has everything I want in an RGB keyboard.

I just won one yesterday at the SoCal meetup.  I plan on doing a write up in the future...if I can figure out how to get the case open.
