Title: What is the recommended profile picture size?

I am going to make my own profile picture for GeekHack, but I don't know what a good size is, I am thinking something like 512x512 or something close to that.

Yeah, disregard above. It says somewhere on GH that the max is 184x184, but I now realise that all avatars have a maximum height/width of 150.
