Hey guys, I'm building a wooden unibody tented ErgoDox case and I'm trying to decide what color to paint it (it's poplar plywood - staining is out of the question - besides, I'm using Bondo to smooth the joints and fill the grain).
As I'm sure you are aware, the color scheme is BFU (blue), GSM (gray), YY (yellow), and RAS (red) ( https://www.massdrop.com/buy/danger-zone-sa-keycap-set in case you're unfamiliar). I have 2 yellows and 1 red key in place atm, but could swap one of the yellows for a Navy or Gray... the thing is, I don't love how they look next to black, white, or gray. I think red or yellow may be a bit much for a whole case, and I imagine I'd be hard-pressed to find the specific RAS or YY hues in a spray paint.
So my conundrum is this: Does anyone have a suggestion as to what color will look good?
Thanks in advance. -Crash

I see what you mean about not looking that great against grey but someone posted this on reddit a little while ago, I think it came out pretty well. No idea how it would go on a ErgoDox though :P

I think some clean stencil work would look really nice with the danger zone set

Hmm... I'll have to dig into some US Navy iconography. Thanks for the tips!
