Post by: Badwrench on Fri, 01 April 2016, 20:28:21: Back when I was a senior in High School, me and 3 of my friends played an April Fools joke on one of the girls in our class. For some reason (that no one could ever figure out), she had a reserved parking spot near the front of the school. On the 1st, me and my 3 buddies each got a wheel well and dragged her Ford Fiesta out of the spot, turned it 90 degrees, and dragged it back in. What made the prank even better was the fact that she got out early since she didn't have a 7th period class, but had to wait for the cars on either side to leave before she could move her car. I am still amazed that we were never busted for it. I realize that it was more of a prank than a fools, but it was still fun.

It was April 1st for me, but still 6 or so on the 31st of March for her. I let her cry for the rest of the conversation and then told her I was joking at the very end. Worth it.

Like hundreds of cups almost side by side so you had to carefully remove each one or just domino a large area. He came back to the residence drunk only later that night, swung his door open, knocked a bunch of them over, and just plowed through to his bed to pass out.

Next morning he wasn't very happy. But we recorded the whole thing and eventually it became a pretty funny memory for him (we helped clean up).

So obviously, we couldn't just let it be; we went out, bought a ton of cling film and wrapped his living room and bedroom up.

We decided that wasn't quite enough, so we took it a little bit further by getting loads of pink and girly wrapping paper and spent a good few hours wrapping up his bedroom as well, on top of all the cling film we'd used before.

Needless to say, he wasn't particularly thrilled, but he was a good sport about it!

He was slightly confused when he came back and there was a fish, as you could imagine. Nothing happened to the fish at the end, we just dumped the glass back into his bowl.

I was such a clever 10 year old.

On April 1st, I told her the marshmallow tree in our yard was BLOOMING. She excitedly gets up and her mind is blown. She could not believe it. She told all of her friends at school about her marshmallow tree and even brought her friends over to take a look. This proceeded for the next couple of days.

Well the tree grows bare the following week and shes wondering why, I told her "oh it was an April Fool's prank" and then she teared up.

Good times. :p :p

I used to play some clarinet back in like 7th grade I think it was, so I always sat right up at the front of the band in front of the band teacher. Anyways, he comes in on April Fool's day, and starts giving his usually spiel about what we'll be playing that day. At some point, I made some stupid comment, that most of the band couldn't even hear, and he gets SUPER mad at me. He would get mad fairly often, so it wasn't totally unbelievable, but he was way more mad than we had ever seen him before. He starts yelling at me, and I talk back to him a bit, at which point he yanks the clarinet that I'm holding out of my hands in anger. Now in our band room, there was this door out to the fire escape about 30 feet away from where the conductor's stand was. During the spring/summer, our director would always keep it partially open to let in the warm air. So he takes the clarinet that he just grabbed from me, and chucks it across the room, right at the fire-escape door. The clarinet hits the door, and shatters into about five different pieces, most of which fly out onto the fire escape. The class literally went silent, they were in such shock.
The clarinet that he threw was in reality an old broken one that he had given me before class, with the two of us planning the whole thing out. That said, I didn't actually realize that he intended to throw the instrument all the way across the room, so my reaction to that was quite genuine. It was a good time.

Well, yesterday I called him and said that I see the car parked near a shopping mall, about 50km (~30 miles if I'm correct) away from his house and that it's definitely his car. He asked some questions and I described the details. So he freaked out and called his wife but she wasn't home. Then he called my girlfriend's sister that was home. She went to check and of course the car was there. But I pranked the whole family with just one phone call. :D

We did that with a girls car that we disliked, but we just left in in the middle of the parking lot. Her phone was lost so no one could contact her to move it. Turns out another group of kids had pranked her by hiding her phone the same day.

Orignally it was mean't to be just a little snip to remove his fringe so it would look weird but not completely noticeable that it would attract attention at school. However i was not a skilled lad with a pair of scissors and it resulting in a large diagonal cut that resembled half a mohawk. Needless to say he was not happy and neither were my parents. He wore a hat for the next couple of weeks and scowled at me whenever we ate a the dinner table.

Essentially me and some of my fellow seniors moved his car into the quad which was in the center of the school and all of the seniors moved our cars into the quad and had a tailgate party during the lunch period. Skip forward to April the 1st, I made sure that my version is in the Wii and hers is stashed away. Once we're all in the front room, I make sure she saved the game, ran up to the Wii and ejected the disk. I then proceeded to snap it and make a massive fuss. Sister starts crying, parents shouting at me. I go to my room when I'm allowed back out I bring out her disk. Worth getting shouted at.

He didn't realize what was going on for a week until later I was talking to him about Dropbox and he was like "yeah I think Apple forgot to take down their prank or something, they keep talking about "Apple Butt" and it doesn't make any sense."

Predictably he put the toilet seat up then peed straight on to taut saran wrap. Piss got everywhere, I'm shriek-laughing which wakes my mother up and she decides I've gone too far and should clean it all up. Probably worth it.

During my first year of college I worked at a sandwich shop. I was texting my girlfriend on my break and didn't want to miss an April Fools opportunity. I though it would be hysterical if I faked an injury so I put some tomato sauce on my hand, took a picture and texted it to her with a message along the lines of "cut myself at work :( " She didn't text right away so I just went back to work. Hours later I have several voicemails on my phone from her weeping because she was so concerned. Epic backfire, learn from my mistake friends.

However, I still fall victim to my friend’s pranks. But this happens only until highschool. Never once I fall victim to April Fool’s prank after that. I am not sure if all my friends have grown up, or I just don’t have enough friends that are actually into April Fool prank-making; but at this point, I am too afraid to ask.

Its was more a share thing, we split almost everything like soap and stuff. Normally I did the shopping and all I asked of that bastard was to tell me when something ran out. Something he somehow forgot more often than not. It was a good period tho, lots of weekday gaming and weekend partying. He could get some wicked moonshine almost free!

I'm not that sly of a pranker nor a very creative one, so one that I do remember being good was my friend was in the bathroom back in the 9th grade but for some reason he left his watch on the table so I changed it to be 5 minutes later than it actually was and he convinced our english teacher to let us out 5 minutes earlier than we were supposed to. It was great! I didn't think his watch was the same 5 minutes late for like two days. Once again I haven't put much thought into april fools ever, so sorry that this is super lame.

My sister wore glasses so I woke up before her and taped over the lenses a few layers of regular tape so she would wake up and not be able to see clearly out of her glasses. She woke up later and after a minute or two of wtf she figured it out so it didn't have the effect young me was looking for but oh well. I know, not the best. :(
