Title: Can anyone identify this keyboard / switch? INDENTIFIED!

Does anyone know this thing? No information given except that it was used for graphic design. No bradings nor text on back. Also seller stated that this thing has backlit keys ... ?

Edit: Also sorry for the title, but the reddish screen reminded me of the front of the Knight Rider car.  :)

Wow, it looks like some LED version of Hi-Teks or Stackpole, though it's probably from a different manufacturer. I've never seen anything like this Oo .

I just noticed the seller added a title. This thing is part of a Hell Chromacom 2000 from 1980.

Did they really have to censor his nose?! Oo

Also I just noticed it doesn't have anything near a normal typing area, just an ABC block. I really wonder what those switches are, they look almost like a 35-year-old SteelSeries QS1 xD .

Dunno, maybe it was an unpleasent face lol.

Also the fourth segment of keys has got the alphabet printed on, so I guess it was intended for normal writing too.

Here it is explained that the keyboards function equal the functions one can find in the drop down menus of the software included in the system.

Whoa, this stuff is amazing! The CPR 403 on the infographic at the bottom is a Chromacom Proof-Recorder (1982). A giant high resolution film drum scanner? If I was a betting guy I would wager that the keyboard came from a magazine or advertising company that was in business during the 1980s :eek:

Whatever they were doing they were definitely digitizing photos in 1982.. which is pretty awesome
