Title: My hand cannot seem to adjust back to mx cherry brown after using mx cherry blk!
Post by: soundtester on Wed, 06 April 2016, 13:21:41
What happened??? I feel like my hand cannot type on mx cherry browns anymore. I am constantly making errors. Have I adjusted to blacks permanently? mx cherry brown was what i used for 2 years!

MX black and red are my favorite switches.  Too bad you listened to a couple of squeaky wheels and got rid of the MX black keyboard, right?  :)

MX reds might be too light for you too, if the browns are causing you trouble.  Perhaps you should slow down your keystrokes until you get readjusted?  After all, browns feel almost like reds with a barely perceptible "bump" in the press.

Good luck either way!

Browns are terrible, be happy you've learned to appreciate something else.

Now switch to Topre and do it right.  :))

Already have a happy hacking pro 2.. the keyboard is too feminine for my use.

I like the way how linear key sounds and the blacks were causing my hand to fatigue for days. lol Brown isn't light for me because it's the main keyboard I've used for 2.5 years with 150 WPM.

Well, like I suggested, perhaps slow down your keystrokes until your brain/fingers remembers the browns?

I said Topre, not an HHKB.   :thumb:

An HHKB is damn sexy tho, feminine or otherwise.

I tried lol.  I feel like blacks have permanently damaged my hands. I feel so crippled.

I thought the same too when I paid 250 for it. til it just looked too girly, even people who saw me using it at my home said it was girly and that made me not want to use it. but to hide it in my drawer.

Then you should tell those people to leave and stop being friends with them. :P

I'm all about the blacks. Consider yourself lucky that you've switched to the superior race.

They were girls. Can't tell girls to leave me alone. Girls came over and said "Raymond, that's really girly. A white keyboard?"

What works really well is using the white keys on the black case. :D

How are they superior when I already have the mx blacks shipped back to their retail store?

lol, blue is completely unusable for me. The clicks of the blue gives me headaches and it feels terrible but each their own.

MX reds might be too light for you too, if the browns are causing you trouble.  Perhaps you should slow down your keystrokes until you get readjusted?  After all, browns feel almost like reds with a barely perceptible "bump" in the press.

Good luck either way!

So I got my reds today and I must .. this is the best switch I've ever used. It's like black but lighter. The sound is so perfect!!
