Title: Greetings GeekHack!
Post by: Zar7 on Thu, 07 April 2016, 14:52:14
Greeting everyone. I am new here at Geekhack. Last year I tried a mechanical keyboard for the first time, and I completely fell in love with the satisfying feel of mechanical switches.
Since then, I proceeded to have a collection of mech keyboards (total of 8 right now!), and I really enjoy Cherry MX Reds and Browns.

Honored to be here with fellow keyboard enthusiasts! :D

My three main mechanical keyboard are: CM Storm Quickfire Rapid Cherry MX Red, Corsair Vengeance K65 Cherry MX Red, and Vortex Pok3r with Cherry MX Brown.

Welcome :)

How did you like the switch from Cherry MX Red to brown? I bet you're already research the next keyboard huh?

Thank you. :)

Actually, I transitioned from Blues, to Browns and finally to Reds. Yep, research already made buddy. :D

The thing is, my preference for keyboards are mainly those with Costar Stabilizers. Originally I was considering the KUL ES-87, but found crazy feedback on the
Cherry stabilizers' mushiness. Between the KUL and the WASD V2, in your opinion which one is better?

No opinion here bud. I know people say that KUL is good. WASD's CODE has a huge following but if you like Costar I believe you might enjoy WASD's products a bit more.

Hmm, I thought so. Might pick up the WASD V2 TKL with MX Reds soon.

Welcome to Geekhack!

A nice collection of keyboards - I have a QFR that ha been going strong for a few years.

Have you tried many other switches?  Like blacks, greens or clears?
