no comments on the cases idea, but I'll just say that that's a really clever numpad idea. just 8 extra keys to achieve a full, non-slanted numpad is pretty great

That's the only part I haven't been able to test so I'm really excited to get a prototype in hand and try it out, I'm hoping it works as well in practice as it does in my head. :))

Oh man, this looks cool. MA42 is a perfect QWERTY keyboard for my needs because I need the 10u home row but this is even cooler. Really interested in the numpad idea.
Can't wait to read about the prototype board. Good luck with the project and keep us updated! :)

Sorry for resurrecting this thread but I was looking over my MA42 build and remembered about this project.
So did you make it and are you using it or it's a layout that never came to be?
P.S. Still gotta say thank you for getting me into this hobby, MA42 was a great board and it still pulls me back for trying out <60% layouts.
