i know i know WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT but yes i use an ipad alot and would love to find a good folding keyboard for some journaling (decent amount of typing) that i'm doing and my leopold 750 just doesn't fit well in my bag all the time currently looking at the

No experience, but what about a HHKB? It is a bit smaller than the leopold and because it is case-mounted it is really light (opposed to the plate-mounted fc660)

I don't have any experience with those specifically, but I did use a folding keyboard for the purpose that you said (writing on the ipad), and it was an exercise in frustration. I also tried those folio type keyboards, and didn't like that either. I finally got the logitech keys to go, and it feels surprisingly good.

The clamcase also felt good, but it added too much weight for me.

Just as a note for the Thread Starter, the pictures of the "Logitech Keys-To-Go" might suggest that it is flexible or rubbery, it is not, it is indeed a solid keyboard made of hard plastic with a kind of smooth texture to it, it is really quite durable. That being said, if you might suggest getting the "Logitech Keys-To-Go", keep in mind that a HHKB is about the same size, perhaps even smaller, so you might as well just get a HHKB, but the "Logitech Keys-To-Go" will save you a bit of money.

Well.. it must be really durable. If it is as with all my previous logitech keyboards, I threw them away after 6-8 months. So in the long term, a HHKB may me more durable.
Also, on the HHKB you can replace caps but you cannot do that with this logitech thingy.

I've had mine for about 2 years, and it has gone with me in my bag almost every day. I'd think that replacing caps would be less of an issue than durability and size. And though the layout is the same size as the HHKB, the thickness is not. As the poster said, it is firm enough to give support, but it's only about as thick as a thin magazine.

How about the Microsoft folding keyboard?
I have one and it feels quite nice. The only thing is that if you have bad typing habits it will take a while to get used to it.

I tried that one, and the keys got to me (and that gap!). Not enough feel from the keys as they're flush- sort of like the g20 keycaps. If you can get past that, either (the folding or non-folding) are good products. I just tried both and couldn't get past that. The universal mobile keyboard has the distinct keys, but I never tried that one as it seemed it had issues with the hardware from the reviews.

Yeah I see what you mean. I'm just heavily biased against logitech kb because I find them crap. But apparently they can last very well. And yeah the logitech is smaller in height, I can see that being important.
Still, I would buy a HHKB. But that's personal, of course.

It's got good reviews- so that's a good thing (as long as they're kosher). I have a planck I just got, and the case makes it a bit heavy for carrying around, though some do it.
I have a stowaway (http://www.amazon.com/Stowaway-Ultra-Slim-Bluetooth-Blackberry-Handhelds/dp/B0002OKCXE/) personally, and have had it forever and it still works! But I found that for long-term typing, I wanted something a bit larger, if not heavier. but I hope it works for you!
