Title: Lost the small adjustable leg of HHKB
Post by: bchen112 on Tue, 12 April 2016, 18:36:52
So sad. I put my new hhkb in the bag this morning and when I took it out, there is a small leg missing. Really want to know if I can get a new part for that leg.
Yes I already learnt my lesson and I would never carry my hhkb like that in the future. I just ordered the Grifiti Chiton Fat Sleeve on amazon to protect the keyboard. I also wonder if this sleeve is good for hhkb.
Also sad when I just heared that the hhkb pro BT is coming out. I just bought the pro2 and they come up with a new version the next day. This is so unfortunate. I like to see that the bluetooth version is coming out but it would be the best if it came out one week earlier. haha.

Isn't that what the warranty is for? You would have to send it to Japan, but hey, at least you get it repaired, for a small loan of a million.. oh wait, probably around 20 dollars shipping... times 2. There are no replacement parts, but maybe if you contact PFU they will send you some, as part of their warranty... maybe, worth a try anyway. Other then that, see it as a lesson, a expensive one. If it bothers you too much, I would suggest also breaking the second one off, and replacing them with something else. "Something".

Dude, just type with it on your lap.  You'll get faster, have better posture, and have less hand fatigue.  It takes a week to get used to, though.

Guess this is a good way to cure my perfectionism. Already sent PFU an email. It is driving me crazy but I'll try to get used to it.

Well it's not our fault your bloodline has feminine fingers and weak wrists.
