Doesn't the console require a proprietary keyboard, even though it uses a USB interface?

They would like you to think that it only works with sony licensed stuff I'm sure.
The DiNovo mini works but I rarely use it for the PS3 and use it for the HTPC. I'm too lazy to flip the switch and get the whole Bluetooth recognition routine started every time I go from one to the other. Spendy little sucker too.Show Image(http://geekhack.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=6447&stc=1&d=1260918356)
I'm surprised it's survived frequent falls. Have to admit, perfect size for home theater stuff and since it's Bluetooth I have no problem accessing my HTPC in the wiring closet downstairs.
Come to think of it, Bluetooth is kinda overkill for a PS3. Why not just get some cheapo USB dongle wireless keyboard?
I don't shop at Walmart. Pride.
Have you played "mystery shopper" at one of your grocery stores lately?

PS3, ....one could use a standard USB keyboard with it, [documentation] didn't even mention if SONY made one.
i dont think that counts as the existence of a nonexistant PS3 keyboard.
Bwuh? How is a keyboard made explicitly with a Playstation controller add-on somehow NOT counting as a Playstation keyboard? Do you mean nonexistent SONY Playstation keyboard?
PS3
AZ is not a writer or he would be a little clearer. I think he means that the OP is looking for a Bluetooth keyboard. Or maybe not.
Ricercar, I'm still cracking up about your other post where the pic caption was..... "I just ran out of words." It's pretty easy to tell the programmers from the writers around here.
