I just got m ergodox and it is taking a bit to get use to. After installing everything 2 of the keys do not work and some of the Leds are not working. This is m first keyboard I have put togetherwhat can I do to trouble shoot why the are not working?

Most likely is a bad solder connection on the switches that don't work. As for the leds are you sure they are in the correct way around?

Solder was good switch was bad on one, the second key still not working. It's getting power but when the switch is pressed nothing happens. I tried 3 different switch and none of them worked. Thinking it might be the diode is bad.

If you are sure the soldering is fine, the next possibility is the diode, yes.
Multimeter is good for finding those problems.
The LEDs need to have the right polarity, so just spin them 180 and see if that fixes it.
