Seriously, how do you fix them? I spent the last 30mins cursing my clumsy fingers, and little pieces of metal were flying everywhere. I'm a mess lol, but the two Omron switches are like new now. I fixed mine by straightening out the metal that makes the clicky noise. Next time I'll either pay for new switches or buy a new mouse! :)):blank:
Edit - Whoa, I posted this in the wrong section :-[

I once fixed a RAT 7 mouse, one clicker was broken so I used a spare one from a old mouse I don't use any more and replaced it. It was more then fiddly, and took ages. These RAT mouses are of terrible quality, especially the metal which corrodes in a matter of a few months, therefore is was a pain to get the screws out and disassemble the thing.
you need at least 1 tweezer.

The spring bent because it weakened, when you bent it back, yes, it straightened, but you also weakened it more.
Get some new switches on order quick before they die again. If you can get the Japanese made Omrons instead of Chinese, do that, they last longer.

Luckily my logitech trackball has become my backup mouse. Thank you, I had a feeling that bending a little piece of metal was not going to resolve the issue. I have another cheapo wireless mouse that has life in it still that I could use if the trackball fails.
I've read that the Ducky Secret mouse has Japanese Omron switches. Perhaps I could give that mouse some thought :)
Some mice are easier to change than others, the construction of the Logitech G700 series makes it quite difficult.
