Greetings, relative newb here. Been interested in keyboards for a while now, finally picked up my first and it quickly multiplied into 3. Now I'm looking into having PCBs custom printed for a layout I want, so I figured I'd join up and see what I can learn and contribute here. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to soldering more, meeting other enthusiasts, and throwing money at my computer screen.

Welcome. You mentioned you have three keyboards. I think you forgot to add in the descriptions of these keyboards ;D
Do you like cherry mx blue switches? What kind of layout are you interested in trying to make? Split layout?

Thanks! Nothing too exciting yet, just a Wasd Code w/ sunset keycaps and Browns (yeah yeah, I like them) and two KUL boards with Clears (one at work one for home).
I do like blues! They are on my bucket list along with Topre and Matias Quiet Click for a build someday. I don't think I'd use Blues as a daily driver because of the sound and hysteresis, but they feel really good and I can type fast on them. I just ordered 65g Zealios for my first build!
The layout I have in mind is actually pretty close to the standard 60% layout and will fit in a standard 60% case. I'm collaborating with someone who's done projects here before but don't want to spill the beans until we talk more and get stuff together to post an interest check.
I'd love to work on a split layout next, let me know if you have thoughts on the subject!

Sounds great! I can't wait to see the 60% project!

Welcome to Geekhack!
Clears > browns :p
Depending on how much work you want to do for a split keyboard, Ergo Dox would be a good place to start. Massdrop have kits available every now and again.

I've been using clears at work for a while, since someone complained about my SSK. In a CODE - minimal pinging, fortunately :)

FINE HERE IS A PHOTO of my daily driver. Messy desk and phone camera, but it'll have to do (for now). :D
