Title: Hello from Texas
Post by: scotprice on Mon, 25 April 2016, 13:03:40
Hello,

I just got into the mechanical keyboard game a few months back when I bought a Corsair K70 RGB (Cherry Browns).  I have since bought a POK3R (looking to sell/trade), and found a Dell AT101W with Black ALPS.

I am really looking into building a 65% board, and hand wiring it!

Welcome.
Do you have a favorite switch of the two/three types you own?

Why do you want to sell the pok3r?

My favorite switch out of the ones I have tried is definitely the MX Blues.  The browns are great, and I had a Corsair K70 with reds before returning for the browns.  The Dell's ALPS are a little hard to get used to.

I want to sell/trade the POK3R because I dont like not having arrow keys.  I thought I would be fine with it, but it turns out I am not.

Welcome to Geekhack!

A bit of a contrast between the Pok3r and the Dell!

65%?  Have you considered a WhiteFox (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=77434.0)?

Rowdy,

I was looking at the whitefox, but I was too late for the drop.  I went ahead and bought a magicforce 68 to try out.  I am also looking at the Leopold F660M, but I really want to build a board myself.  Handwire it, and everything.  Problem is finding the 65% plate.

Your best bet might be to sign up for info once the WhiteFox (parts) becomes available.
