Title: Kinesis Mechanical "Low Force" Keypad (numpad)
Post by: LiquidEvilGaming on Wed, 27 April 2016, 13:14:47
"Low Force" Kinesis Mechanical Keypad with Cherry MX Browns...if you want a cheap keypad you can find these on Ebay lately for 20-30$ in great shape used.  I lucked out and made an offer on one for 20$ and the seller took it.  It also has 2 USB ports on the side making it a HUB as well.

[attachimg=1]  Stock as it arrived in the mail, stock caps are either Cherry profile or quite low profile compared to OEM...fairly thick ABS but pad printed...these gotta go.

[attachimg=2]  Little crud in there not a whole lot though considering how cheaply i got this but may as well clean it out

[attachimg=3] Ducky Bi-Color DyeSub PBT keycaps make it look much much better.

For 20$ i would buy this again...and again...and again..

I need to get one of these.  I have the Goldtouch version, but it has a '00' key, and I absolutely despise it.  Years of muscle memory have me using my thumb for zero for maximum speed, and the edge of my thumb is always catching it when I go for the '0' and I end up with three '0's.

What's funny about those Goldtouch ones also is the fact they used to be a very cheap affordable option...now prices online have inflated like crazy.  The Kinesis models lately i see at very reasonable prices on Ebay as of late but i would not be shocked if that changes soon also.
