I know people have been looking for Krytox for a while and it was always hard to find smaller amounts or find it affordably. It looks like Amazon finally has a bunch of different types at good prices.

Gotcha. I'm stocking up on supplies for when I do my first tear-down so I went ahead and ordered some GPL205.

I have a friend at Dupont who could sell me these lubricants at wholesale. I could probably set up a groupbuy for those interested.

I'd probably get some 103 also.
Really wish I could find a place to get some RO-59 to try out as well.

nubbs: isn't this (http://www.amazon.com/Professional-Molybdenum-Disulfide-Lubricant-MoPo/dp/B00QXVZ4GU/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ll1&tag=clasandcontam-20&linkId=37265118391721fffdc213d51d7d6ed4) the stuff you were recommending instead at the meetup?

I never said instead. I said it's the next best thing I have used if you can't find krytox or need something cheaper. You have to be far more careful with application as too much mashes it feel awful and gritty or grainy.
I don't know anything about the particular one you linked to though. I got mine on etsy and it's grey in color.

Ordered! Thank you!

Sounds good. It's always nice to have some good lube on hand.
-
I am new at keyboard building, which one of these would be best for lubing stabs?
-
why is 103 and 107 missing?
-
Do these make that big of a difference? Never lubed switches before. Never had an issue or disliked the feeling either. More or less just wondering. I know most people mention this brand though.
