I am forced to buy via http://www.cdw.com/ -- They carry Cherry keyboards and a number of other brands. I do not know a whole heck of a lot about Cherry, so I am asking you all to find either a Cherry or some other brand keyboard that you think has nice switches from CDW. Non-clicky is preferred, as is a compact layout. However I am willing to compromise if you think it's worth it.
ETA: I *think* I want brown switches but I'm having trouble finding keyboards on there that have that switch type.
Thanks all!

They have G84-4100s with both lasered (Lxxxx) and tampo-printed lettering (Pxxxx), so those may be an option. Their layout is frequently considered to be a little tight though... it's a very small board after all. I haven't checked for versions with / without Win keys (both exist)... with them, the space bar gets quite small. The only G80s they have are specialty boards and thus quite expensive.
Otherwise I didn't find much in terms of mechanical switch boards, save for a large print model from Datacal.

I was about to suggest the same as keyb_gr... They have a load of mechanical Cherry switches, but they are linear switches only, which aren't very pleasant to type on.

SIIG Minitouch Plus, note that it has an AT connector. Could be some New Old Stock: http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/default.aspx?EDC=186454
Many of the Cherry boards on there are very expensive and your company may object.
There are some Logitechs such as the G15 which are not bad if you have to go that route. Not all rubber domes are created equal. Newegg is a good place to look at reviews on products, then you can buy from CDW if you must.

Those things use Alps right? May not be the most suitable for an Office environment.

Hah -- I work there and would like to try my luck expensing a nice keyboard before I go buy what I actually want: HHKB Pro 2 -- I keep drawing stares from the people I work with for my Model M.
Thanks for all the replies everyone. If you have any other suggestions please keep 'em coming.

you work there, so you can ONLY buy from there?
i was going to ask earlier, but assumed you would have a more serious answer.
be a rebel... go find a good deal on ebay.

Put your model M on an inverted cookie sheet and bottom out every key with pride. Then maybe they'll let you get a HHKB, then again, you might come into work to find one of these in place of your M:

I work near someone who thinks Brown Cherries are too loud.

I got my eBay Kinesis Contour (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230401814507) expensed by my employer. Far easier to buy and expense it than trying to motivate them to buy one for me.

They have a lot of keyboards I've never seen before, at outrageous prices.
They have a lot of g80's at not incredibly outrageous prices like a lot of them, one of them should have browns or blues.
11900's have blacks?
