One possible criteria when choosing a keyboard is looking at the shock absorption of its key switches. How can I measure the shock absorption of a key switch?

the heavier the spring, the more energy it can deflect.

I'm not sure what your criteria for -shock- constitutes..

Torpe is pretty squishy when you bottom out.

but what Tp4 said, heavier switches will obviously have better "shock absorption," whatever that means
