Title: Keyboard/keycap shopping in Japan?
Post by: kasakka on Fri, 13 May 2016, 04:34:05
So I'm going to Japan next month and was thinking of checking if I could score a cool keyboard (HHKB maybe) or some nice keycaps. Are there any stores in Tokyo or Osaka I should check?

Did you already check the Japan Shopping Wiki on /r/mechanicalkeyboards? If not do so first.
Afaik the most interesting shop was closed a few years ago, but it's always worth checking big malls and electronics stores. I'm sure you'll find a lot in Akihabara. It's just insane how many keyboards are on display in these electronics stores there.
No idea about keycaps though.

Thanks, didn't know about that, I'll go check it out. I've been to Japan several times but haven't really been that into keyboards to take a harder look at what's available.
