Like I'm sitting here and typing. Complete about a paragraph, "I think I need a break".
After that I'm downloading some movies and organizing my movie folders. Along with that I'm sitting here finding new artists to listen to.
I'm never going to finish (http://www.cute-factor.com/images/smilies/onion/th_109_.gif)

yeah it's very easy to procrastinate.
-
Stayed up all night doing a paper that I procrastinated on. That's why I didn't post on the "do you nap?" thread
-
Give up. You know its not worth it. Listen to your inner voice, it's right, and you know it.
-
If not doing your homework was harder than doing your homework you wouldn't not do your homework.

I nap because I stay up all night
Give up. You know its not worth it. Listen to your inner voice, it's right, and you know it, and knowing that drives you subconsciously insane since you are doing something you know makes no sense, but you still keep doing it.
Well, at this point my inner voice is telling me to procrastinate so I look busy. But my TRUE inner voice is saying go to sleep. Which is why I come to GH. Me typing sounds busy.
If not doing your homework was harder than doing your homework you wouldn't not do your homework.
It's honestly easy as hell. Just boring.

You don't NEED to do homework per se
IF you can ace the exam..
You can work out a deal with the teacher..
The system isn't as rigid as it seems, their goal is not to waste your time..
But, i suppose most young kids wouldn't see it that way.. and parents are not involved enough to care..

11/10 what tp4 said. Its the same I did. I never did my homework. However if that works or not depends completely on your teacher.

Well for english I've stopped caring what happens in the class. She's assigned tests and projects this week and yet has had no lesson plan for the last month.
Bio and physics are the only classes I care for. Thus I'll do my work for them.
Being in HS we use and abuse the system when looking at our grades.

Have you guys ever started an assignment, pulled it out of your bag, placed it on your desk moved your board and made space. But once you're all set it's time for a break that lasts 2 hours?
-
You can also alternatively..
Say **** you to all the teachers..
Go home..
Study for GEDs.
Take GED, then SATs then go to college..
many people don't know this, but public education is AN OPTION..

Almost exclusively.

This is not universally true. It depends on the class, the teacher, and the institution.
I was a rather anti-authority teenager (weren't we all? :P ) so I was not afraid to question my teachers and call them on their crap (I do regret this now, btw, as I've learned there is almost always more to it than meets the eye). My french teacher would assign homework that wasn't particularly helpful or useful, so I questioned why we were doing "busy work". She agreed that it is busy work (useless and time-wasting by definition), but would not budge on requiring it. I was of course an idiot and didn't do my work, and almost failed the class.
YMMV
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's what I wish I did.. But no, I just played the stupid course..
I was not intelligent enough at that age to plan something as elaborate as this..

hindsight is 20/20. at least now you have a good plan to get your kids in college early and start supporting you by the time they turn 18

My computer teacher in high school wouldn't let me take her class "cause I didn't know how to turn on a computer" (it was a Mac and the button was on the back, how was I supposed to know?). I ended up dropping out of high school. Went to community college for two years then transferred to state university. Graduated with computer systems degree and am now a software engineer addicted to mech keyboards

Funny thing is my work machines have almost been exclusively MacBooks. As to your question, yes. The power button was on the back. Still couldn't figure out where to put he power cord though.
