Um.... a 1080gtx would increase by 2.85x from my current hd-7970

The Titan, based on those Rumor-Specs, would be about 4.28x

Greatly reduce draw latency.. so I can see other snakes before they see me...

Okokokok.. Here's the plan....

My personal monthly food bill is ~$300usd...

If I eat only ramen each month, that is $0.45*3*30, a saving of $259.5

$1000/ 259.5 = 3.85 Months..

1200watt can run fine on most houses built in the past 20 years..

if you're on the garage or kitchen, both usually have 20 amp lines..

But the 1080 isn't that power hungry..

My servers run in the basement.. 4x redundant 900watt power supplies.. 2 servers.

1200watt idle..

Oh I was looking at the Titans :eek: I can see your point, I've read that most can't even come close to using 1200watts. I just like the idea of 20amp circuits

I'm assuming you have something like Costco or have a friend who can take you there.

Wouldn't rice with soy sauce + egg work better? Assuming you have a 25lb bag of rice, and you only eat a bowl of rice per meal..Running off my calculations... the cheapest 25 lb rice bag is about $16. One 4 lb bottle of soy sauce is....$8.50. You'd need only one for 2 months. So it's $4.25 a month. Eggs...get the largest pack, which here is about a 96 pack. That's about $15.

16 + 4.25 + 15 = $35.25

:)

Please note: I'm not currently in the US so I can't confirm price validity.
