As per title. I love the brown switch but can't stand heavy spacebars and prefer uniform actuation force all across the board.
Are there any confirmed brown keyboards that are absolutely, positively browns only?
(Also any identified reds-only would be valuable information.)

Why not just solder in a brown switch?

Are there that many that aren't uniform?
The only boards I've seen that have a heavier spacebar are typically older cherry boards and they are also PCB mounted so easy to change that stem out.

I thought that uniform switches is a standard on the current market boards and that heavy spacebar thing takes place in an ancient boards and weird cherry-made stuff, mostly.
All of my keyboards are not have a heavy spacebar.

Thanks, guys. Yeah, I've only ever had or pawed an old Cherry-made brown and zero experience with modern browns. Good to hear modern ones don't have the problem.

No tools and zero experience. Hard to find someone else to do it either.

How easy?

If PCB mounted you can use tweezers, a small screwdriver or switch opening tools to remove the switch top.

Yeah, I've done that before on my vintage G80. Broke the metal plaque inside. ;) Now I need to transplant the switch from Scroll Lock or somewhere. Just can't solder.

You broke the leaf spring?
