Title: Hi - New Member here
Post by: andrzejski on Fri, 27 May 2016, 17:13:30
Hey guys, new-ish member to mech scene. I had a corsair strafe that I inherited for a while and recently bought a pok3r of my own after being on the fence between a pok3r and FC660m for a long time. I wish I could use blues all the time, but browns work pretty well for me too. I tried stock MX clears and couldn't stand the heat...

I guess that's me!

Welcome :)

What do you mean by not being able to stand the heat of Clears? :p

Gosh, everyone knows that Cherry MX clear is that fire

Welcome aboard. I have this sneaking suspicion that you're looking for a new keyboard. Perhaps a new switch?

At first I thought Cheery MX Clear switches are very heavy. But after spent some weeks with Model M, they are not that stiff at all.

Welcome to Geekhack!

Not too much between the Pok3r and the FC660M, apart from the arrow keys on the FC660M.

I like MX clears - they are about the only switch I don't bottom out on all the time.  I also prefer stiffer switches generally - I guess it's just a matter of how strong the fingers are and/or how hard you type.

Any plans for another keyboard?  Something Topre perhaps?

You should try out some MX Ergo Clears. ;)
