Hello everyone,
I'm HH from the Netherlands.
Since yesterday I own my first mechanical keyboard. It's a CM Storm Quickfire Rapid-i (Cherry MX brown switches). I've come upon this site after I've got bitten by the customizing bug. Looking to explore my options in giving my CM a unique look.
Looking forward to spending time on here!

Hello and welcome to GH!. I have the Rapid-i (Cherry MX blue) too. Terrific keyboard!. However, the original keycaps will start shining very soon. You may or may not like them. Find some nice PBT keycaps and put them on stead. Cheers.

Welcome to Geekhack!
I have a QFR and a QFS - older versions of the QFR-i. Both are still going strong after a few years.
What sort of customisation were you planning? Replacing keycaps should be straight-forward (unless you have an uncommon ISO variant). You could paint the case. Add a few artisan keycaps. A custom cable.
The possibilities are, well, not quite endless, but plentiful :)

@ khirin, thanks for the tip
@rowdy, I like the camouflage on the case of the Filco Majestouch so I might give hydrodipping a go and go for that look. Will probably also go for different colour keycaps.
Nice quote by the way

Hydro-dipping can turn out very well!
If you like the commando look, there was a Command keycap set a while back. Not sure if you'll be able to find a set now, but there is an interest check (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=82408.0) for an updated set along the same theme.
