It's like firefly,  but larger...  Better CGI for sure..

Only seens episode 1...

Episode 1 had some of the best effects I've seen in a scifi show. The books are definitely worth a read as well.

The setting/universe was really well established and the plot was overall pretty good albeit definitely a trope... my main issue with that show is that the characters are so one-dimensional, just walking archetypes basically. Firefly was great because each character was so dynamic

Meh. I have read the first book and did not like the ending.

I saw the first few episodes of the series, and sure - they are well made. The atmosphere, acting and production values are the best of any sci-fi show right now.
But I am not interested in the overall story.
