Title: Purpose of the top-right key on the Apple Extended Keyboard II?

The Apple Extended Keyboard II has what looks like an extra key in its top-right corner.  What is its purpose?  Thanks.

That’s the power key. It’s used to turn the computer on.

It's a power button for the system.

No idea if it will function on modern computers, PC or Mac.
