The fifth mechanical keyboard to reach Newegg's lineup. A bit pricey, though.

This is almost the same layout as my g86 from ebay! Beware the \ next to the alt key. Talk about a small spacebar too.

Now if Newegg would just sell the G80...

Cool, compact, but that would turn me from a touch typist into a hunt-and-peck typist in 2.2 seconds. Look at all those little keys. You could fit the enter, r shift and backspace keys on one Model M backspace key.

I'm a weirdo with long skinny fingers that doesn't have too much trouble touch-typing on a smaller keyboard like that.

That keyboard has a terrible layout. The original Model F's beat that layout by a landslide.

$110!! Yikes
I bought my white one w/o win keys off ebay for $10

These are great as auxillary keyboards (I use a KVM for my main keyboard, but have 2 ML4100s connected so I can type on either PC quickly without hassle.)
They are even good for alternative layouts, since the keys are all the same height.
Unfortunately, the \ key is slightly wider than the # key on the UK version, so I couldn't quite get a perfect Colemak layout. If I was bothered, I suppose it could be filed down to make the swap possible.
This would be a good way to learn an alternative layout if you want to leave the keyboard you type on as Qwerty or blank. The ML4100 would act as a visual guide when you need to check a location. As a bonus if you need to type anything critical like a password, or type one-handed when you use the 'phone, you can go to the ML4100.
Having typed on them for a bit recently, I have to say the switches are slightly 'balky'. Not dreadful, but clearly a step below MX switches.

Did you switch the Caps-lock and Backspace keys on that?

Physically, yes. The keycap sizes are identical. No Photoshopping this time.
In XP Colemak makes CapsLock act as Backspace. In the beta driver for Vista it doesn't, so I remap it using KeyTweak.
I don't remap the (normal) backspace key as CapsLock, but I'm so used to having backspace on the left now, that I may end up doing that. At least in Vista where I get the choice.
