Title: USB mod for G80 11800
Post by: merlin64 on Wed, 22 June 2016, 01:36:38
Trying to convert my 11800 to use 1 detachable USB vs the original PS/2 for mouse and trackball.

My USB breakout board has pins for GND, ID, D+, D-, VCC. Each of the PS/2 have clock, data, ground, and power. Am I going to need an IC in order to do this correctly or is there some neat wiring trick I can do?

I've looked at pinouts online and have only been successful in tracking down Y Cable PS/2 adapters that also terminate in a PS/2 port. I'm considering tearing apart one of my Y Cables (2 PS/2 to USB), does anyone know where I can find a circuit that's in breakout board format?
