Anyway, these aren't exactly rare bargains, just useful things from ebay...

OK, they say it's a makeup brush, but I say it's perfect for giving keyboards a quick once over (dusting, I mean!) Would also make a good camera lens cleaner if you kept one dedicated to the job. (It comes with a plastic cover so you can keep the brush clean.)

Yep, I saw acid brushes mentioned in another thread, but they are not common here in the UK, and not cheap if you do find them. I'd never even heard of them before. They seem perfect for the job, but for a disposable product I'd want to pay a disposable price, and over here a box of them would cost much more than I paid for this brush. Go figure.

Indeed. My face is no stranger to the odd silvertip badger. Have you been peeking in my bathroom? I like the brush that goes with my razor too. Too big for cleaning keyboards though. :smile:

Dish-washing brush (strong bristles) after I found the toilet brush to be too big and realised my fear of :spider:
 I now pay someone :washing: thirty Shillings to have my kbd cleaned when necessary.

Cheap, natural bristle paint brush. I nip them right up and glue the base before I use them though, otherwise I pick bristles out from between the keys for weeks. Brake Presses have some weird uses!

Yes, it's not so difficult or dangerous as you might think.
The only real obstacle is honing the blade (knowing what to buy and learning how to do it) or finding someone to do it for you.

I just started using a safety razor. It can be unforgiving for the first few days : )

A straight razor would be pretty awesome once you learned how to use it properly.

Yes, DE/safety razors are cool too. You just have to unlearn all those bad habits that cartridge razors teach you.
