Hello,

I'm a long time lurker who as the name suggests is obsessed about 122 key IBMs, and big keyboards in general. I have myself a 1389160 Model M (and a few junkers as well) which I dearly love even after hurting myself cleaning and bolt-modding the darn thing :). I originally made the account to buy some keyboards from beserkfan which didn't go too well but it's lovely to be in a place where people are obsessed about keyboards as I am.

Welcome to Geekhack!

Sorry to hear that you tried to buy something from berserkfan.  There's a lot of us in that position.  I was tempted to buy one of his F122 keyboards, but in the end settled for just a keycap set.  I ended up getting an old numpad that no-one wants.  The keycap set is still MIA :(

I do have one Model M 122, but it is currently not working.  Well, it probably works, but has no keycaps and no adaptor, so I can't test it.  It is on my list of things to do.

During the meanwhile I am alternating between my two SSKs and occasionally pressing one of my Model M 101 key keyboards into use.

I like buckling springs :D
