Title: Hi, How are you guys?
Post by: jetfantastic on Sun, 03 July 2016, 10:59:25
Hi, as I'm posting on this board, I'm new to geekhack, not really the mechanical keyboard community (I've been induced through reddit quite easily).
I'm excited to become a member of a community that shows a more specific interest into a hobby of mine.
I currently only have a Steelseries 6Gv2 but I've preordered the Pok3r RGB with Cherry MX Blacks.
I'll sadly get it a bit after you guys, seeing as I'm in Australia, I have organised some cheap(er than mk.com) shipping so I'm pretty excited.
I even bought a new keycap from maxkeyboard.com for my new board,

Here it is on my steelseries board

Welcome to Geekhack!

What aspect of keyboard interests you the most?  Chances are there's a thread or two about it already ;)

Occasionally, just occasionally, we get something delivered down here before the US or Europe.  Doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's sooooo sweet :D

I had my eye on that running man keycap for ages but never got around to buying one :))

I honestly just like keyboards in general, The feel, the look, the experience.
I actually ordered the pok3r through mechanicalkeyboards.com, used postmate to get cheaper shipping (Shipping to america is free) So I'm gonna get it for ~$20 AUD.

I assume the $20 is the shipping, not the keyboard cost :))

That's not bad, although the Pok3r is a smaller keyboard.  I can't remember what my Ducky Shine TKL cost to get shipped from there, but I have a feeling it was a bit more than that.
