An IBM 3178 keyboard. A few people around here have them. I have yet to hear of anyone successfully making them PC compatible.

Ahhh, recycledgoods.com - they do like to overprice things.

Back up to $43.88 at the moment.

Not long ago they had a Buckling Beam board on "sale" for around $105 or so (temporarily reduced from $145). I offered what I thought was a quite reasonable offer (especially considering it was for an entirely obsolete item) of $40 and they flat turned it down w/ no counter save a "we want something closer to our asking price". Their prerogative, of course.

I got one in better condition two weeks later for $10. So goes the Bay.

You need one of the Industrial ones for the collection.

I saw two of those on ebay a few months ago along with some strange AT one. I'll keep you posted if I find any more.

Nah, they found out you are a cheap piece of crap who is proud and very loud of that fact. Just like all the other sellers who for some wild reason will not sell to a person advertising himself this way.

Let's try and keep things civil around here.

How about you simply call him "cheap"?  I didn't say ignore behavior...i just asked that we try and be civil.

I don't have the time to take sides, and I'm not defending anyone.  If this escallates, I'll simply move the thread to "off topic".

Anyone know what protocol those old Display Station keyboards use? I'm wondering if they can be converted to PC use.

They were 3178 terminal keyboards. Kbdbabel dude mentions that he's working on one, but I'm not sure how up to date his site is.

Unlike converting from XT to AT, these things use weird parallel interfaces meaning that you'd either have to try and map it to a parallel port, or have some  converter to USB, which I imagine would need to be pretty sophisticated.
